So my leg has an itch and I scratch it, right?

I accidentally scratch a scab that must have been on a vein or something. Next thing I know my leg is gushing blood at my cube. I don't even notice until I see the blood coming through my pants. So know it looks like I've been stabbed in the leg as my whole right pant leg is covered in blood. Naturally there are no bandaids in the office anywhere so i have to grab a bunch of napkins to SCOTCH TAPE to my leg. So now i have 5 napkins taped to my leg and my pants with about a dozen quarter sized blood spots on them. Oh yea, my leg is still bleeding and it is starting to go through the napkins. I can't go home because it is a 45 minute trip and I have work to do.

What a day.

LOL!

If anybody asks why you have napkins scotch taped to your leg, say it's an old war injury that didn't heal correctly. Nobody will give it a second thought. 😉

hmmm just me but: if i was bleeding that much, i would get it taken care of by a nurse or doc. i don't care how much work i have. open exposed blood, how many people are in your office? can you trust you won't get anything from being that exposed? i wouldn't take the chance personally. besides it is a hazard for your co-workers. are you getting it on the floor, or chair or anything? i would rather be safe and have more work to do tomorrow, than worry about infection of any kind. 😕

I'm wearing khackis so the blood is only exposed to my pants. It's not on chairs or the floors or anything. And there are no nurses or anything in the building. I'm in no pain, so I'm not worried. Thanks anyways for your concern 🙂
