Hello.
im a n00b in micro architecture (I do have basic understanding of Piplines, BUSes, branch predictions etc) - but would very much like to get a deeper understanding of instruction dependencies in the x86 ISA so I can use the knowledge to write a decent article about the Hammer architecture and why&how wide super-scalar processors (a 9 issue like the Hammer) are limtied by dependencies in the x86 ISA (such as adress dependcies).
is there any stright forword article about the subject?
btw the article is for a new hardware site I start in Israel (im an Israeli 18 year old student), just so you'll know im not competing with Anand
thanx in advanced
