The Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr.'s (and I use the term "reverend" lightly) son, Jesse Jackson Jr. was re-elected with zero campaigning, not having been seen in months, having not worked in months while checked into a mental health facility, WHILE in plea deal talks with the Feds regarding the misuse of campaign funds to decorate his Washington home, but also possibly for using $40,000 in campaign funds to buy a Rolex watch as a gift for a "female friend, " after being named in the scandal surrounding former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevichs decisions over who should replace President Obama in the U.S. Senate.
He won his election race with 72% of the popular vote.

(and I thought California politics were bad!)
