He was already under 3 federal investigations. If they had enough dirt on him for other stuff it'll come to light soon enough. Just wondering what Illinois is going to about a replacement, and also the vacant US Senate seat.
Shouldn't the Lieutenant Governor take his place for the rest of the term? That's what happened in Florida when Lawton Chiles died about 10 years ago when I was living there.
He has not been convicted so he is not required to in that state. The only way out is if he is impeached, convicted, resigns, dead, or steps aside temporarily.
