Oh, I get it now. You are making a joke with the thread title. Illinois family shocked by electric bill.

That is the point of the thread, right?

In that thread at the top they should make a requirement for at least a minimum level of skill at using the Internets because after all these years you continue to fail.

Chicago is not Elgin. Elgin is 40 miles west of Chicago.

Gas Prices Well Above $4 At Some Chicago Stations

ChicagoGasPrices.com says the cost of gasoline in the Chicago area as of midmorning Thursday ranged from $3.34 at the Sam’s Club at 7430 Woodward Ave. in Woodridge, to $4.11 at the Mobil station at 1106 W. Fullerton Ave. near DePaul University.

But if you think that’s high, just imagine the sticker shock at a station in Orlando, Fla., which is charging $5.89 a gallon. One man drove in, and drove right back out again.

Little did the power company know but this was sitting in their driveway:

Delorean.jpg

1.21 gigawatts!!!!!

Seriously though, the optional Mr Fusion would take care of that issue.

Did not get yesterday's news? $6.00 at some Florida stations.

We're talking about national or widespread average prices. Dave's bizarre fixation on milk and gas is always good for a laugh. I personally couldn't care less about gas prices, because I don't own a car.

Ah, see you are in New York City.

Obviously very wealthy and the price of milk or any food does not affect you in the least.

So why do you hate not so fortunate rest of Americans?

Why do you post in threads that are of no interest or bearing on you?

Very strange behavior on your part for sure.

I am most certainly not very wealthy, I just find your chicken little routine to be absurd.

You admitted to living in Elgin in the OWS throwing condoms at school girls thread. You even admitted to not traveling to Chicago much.

So does this mean that I can expect to see you on Kimbal street saturday

I still go to Chicago for meetings etc but no longer everyday.

That was such a bullshit story. People were paying $3.79 a gallon on Disney property the same day that story was published.

What has changed since a couple days ago when that story was printed?

Actually, there used to be a gas station directly across the street from the rental car return lot when it wasn't in the airport parking complex like it is now. My company gets pissed if I have the rental car company fill the car up because they assume it's more expensive. So, I dutifully filler-up at the gas station, and when I pulled the receipt I almost went into shock. They were charging over six dollars a gallon. This was at least a couple years ago.

I wonder if they're pulling the same crap, except there's no car rental return lot there now. It's right next to the Cracker Barrel resturant
