No, you can't get him fired for that. You're not giving us the entire picture, because I don't see how you went from walking into blockbuster to lying about your giftcard to an associate. Ordinarily when you go to purchase something and brandish a giftcard, we'll ask you how much is on there, or if there is enough on there to cover the balance, because we have to enter in the exact ammount to process a giftcard transaction. If you told him $300, he/she would have just merely done the transaction. Something was fishy, and your response to where you got the card is odd as well.

All you had to do was tell him you've been trading a lot, and if such was the truth all would have been fine.

nono the card worked and everything. she told me the amount that was on the card left when i bought stuff...transaction went smooth and when he was like where did u get the card? i was like oh some1 needed money bad and sold it for 150. and he just started breakin out arguing with me. he said that was illegal buying it from some1 online.

Call up the blockbuster, and ask them for the number for the district manager. They usually have it posted up in the store in the employee area.

You just told us you traded for it, you didnt say you bought it.

I don't understand why they would ask you where you got the card, especially if you were finishing up your purchase. That makes no sense.

i wasnt thinking!!! ok whole stroy.

i walked him gamerush and said wassup to this girl who worked there. the WIERD guy who worked there also said what are u doing. i was like sayin hi to the girl. he was like why would u do such a thing...i was like okkkk....wierdass.....then walked off to the game section. then when i bought the games he said are u paying with cash or vredit card. i told him i had a value card. and yes i do have a bb membership card. he was like how much is on there. i told him i didnt know so he didnt something and told me to scan my card. then he told me i have 300 somehting on it i was like kool ok. then he scanned everything and everything was done. he was like so where did u get the card? i told him some1 online who needed cash sold it for 150. and then he was like what? some1 who traded games in bb sold the value card? i was like yea. he was like what idiot what sell the trade in credit for cash? i was like him...he was like thats just stupid? i was like ok...anyways...then he said it was illegal to buy it online...then i was so pissed i brought everything out...i was like ok man so when i buy a game from some1 online thats illegal right? stupidass then he was like w/e...all quite then i was like man u just mad cuz i got 300 in a value card and he said no, its just stupid how he sold it online which he couldve gotten a job and got the money...i was like wtf...and he just started yelling. and the guy who sold my GBSP came over and told him to calm down. i just walked outside. then he was on the phone with some1...maybe from BB district. then walked in and said f*ck you stupid bitch get a life.

Does the guy know you? Sounds as if he suspected you were doing something suspicious. Employees don't randomly ask "What are you doing?" He did a giftcard balance check on the card is what he did when he told you to swipe your card through. So anyway...this still doesn't answer why you told him you bought it off someone online, and why you're telling us you traded for it with a friend.
