illegal operation

Hi, sometimes when I'm on the internet, the message "This program has performed an illegal operation......" Then the blue screen comes up and I have to press the reset button and reboot. What could be wrong? Please help.
 
Are you in Internet Explorer when this happens? if so, you can try clearing the temporary internet files and the cookie files.. or reinstall the browser.. you can also click on `details` to find out exactly what is causing it and then goto microsoft.com and search the MSKB (microsoft knowledge base).. they usually have an answer for these types of problems in there.
 
I don't think anyone has a direct answer to this. Are you using netscape?? I think you are. 😉. It just happened on me and I would love to find the answer too. What windows are you using?
