A friend was taking psych classes and was telling me that there is some kind of mental disorder where the part of the brain that "switches you off" to go to sleep doesn't work. So basically you feel incredibly tired and sleepy but can't actually go to sleep. And people afflicted by this I guess just slowly end up dying by exhaustion.

That would suck.

Dunno if anybody said it yet, but I thought a man could do more usefull things when staying awake than playing UT2K3... :\

Longest I ever stayed up was 60hrs

Pulled 2 all-nighters in a row, with normal days tacked on each end & in the middle. College is a wonderful thing :-/. I think I slept for something like 14hrs afterwards. I was all confused when I woke up 'cuz it was like 2 in the morning yet I felt fully rested (thinking I had only slept 2hrs).
