It's expected that the first year of a new console's life can have droughts here or there.  Which is why some of the Wii U discussions, claiming there were "no games" from earlier in 2013 seemed pretty petty.  Of course not, it's a new system....
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, seems to be releasing right in the biggest pocket of "nothingness", so it'll be interesting to see how it performs.  I actually hope it does really well, since I thought the Tomb Raider reboot was pretty great, and the game deserves to do well... and because it will encourage developers to do other such inexpensive remakes of some PS3/Xbox360 games, to help file in some of that early lack of content.
Meanwhile, the PS3 and Xbox360 still will be useful this year.  For example... I never played Final Fantasy X, since back when it released all I had an Xbox and a Gamecube, but was too poor to buy a PS2.  Oh, how I was deprived as a youth, it really was quite sad...
