:D

Well, I don't exactly have time to make Soy Patties in the morning and cut up some celery to go w/it. ;)

My stomach is settling down (i think) but I feel like I have a pound of cotton b/t my ears.

if my memory can recall.... anti biotics or any other type of medicine won't even help with the FLU. the flu is a virus that just needs to work itself out of your body. im sure the FLU vaccination would be a good thing though.

I got my flu shot like 2 weeks ago, it was nothing. Little pin-prick and it was over, no issues afterwards. I'm actually glad I did it. I'd never had a flu shot before and I usually get pretty sick at least once a year.

Well, here we are, 13 hours later. God, my days are too long.

I haven't puked, nor passed out. Hooray! Beer!! Um, er....whatever.

I left work at 1630 feeling mighty queasy. Had those cold/damp sweats...you're sweating, but not profusely, but just enough to make your clothes stick. You know? Whatever.

I was really dizzy as well (more than normally, anyway :D)

Came home and took a long shower. Made a drink...of er...lemona....fine. Bourbon and coke. Made another. Watched Army of Darkness on DVD. :D Super flick. Rent it.

Ate some "Queso". That would be:

1/2 log of Owen's Sausage - you brown it/chop it finely in the pan...like if you're making Hamburger Helper.
1/2 log of Velveeta, chopped, place in covered casserole dish w/1 can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chiles)
When cheese mixture is melted and bubbly you mix in the sausage and eat with yellow or white corn rounds (like Tostitos)

Yum.

So, I dont feel 100%, but I do feel a little better. Sleep should do me good. :)

mini doughnuts, double whopper with cheese, and then sausage and velveeta?

Man... You're a walking blob of arterial plaque. :p No wonder you don't feel so good.

You can only be as healthy as what you eat. That's as good as it gets. If you eat garbage, you're going to feel like garbge.

The sad thing is, most people don't realize that they feel like garbage, because they're used to it.. It's all they know.:Q

Don't get flu shots either. I'll let everyone else's immune system die off, thanks.

Edit - Good luck MichaelD ... remember, in the good old US of A, you always have the Right to Sue for Stupid Sh*t.

Hah, I did a research paper of antibiotics waste in the world today.... 65% of all antibiotics consumed in the US are by livestock. Where do you think all that goes? That's right, you cook it up and eat EVERYDAY! It's in everything! Beef, turkey, chicken, pork, fish, vegtables and fruit (it's in pestisides), grain (insecticides).......

Unless you grow all of your own food, you are consuming HUGE amounts of antibiotics and medicines every year.

DANG! you have an excellent memory. I'll be honest. No, I haven't. I haven't even told her yet. Remember, she is evil. She will use anything she can to:

a. Make me look bad to my son
b. Cause me grief
c. Get the authorities involved (I know I'm legal, but the point is that she'll MAKE the call...and the sh1t rolls from there...)

I have decided to wait...until about a month before to tell both her and HIM. He's only 7...if I tell him now, he wont' understand, you know> :(
BTW, I pick him up tomorrow!!! :D <--Happy Dance! This weekend is Daddy Weekend. Someday, he'll ask to live with me. I know it.

You get:

a. An A+ for "Thread Attentiveness" you're right on it, Eli.
b. An A+ for reminding me that I eat like sh1t
c. A D- for reminding me that I eat like sh1t ;)
d. A thumbs-up for reminding me that I eat like sh1t

I have no pics...but in 1994, I weighed 192 pounds. I was CUT, man. I went to the gym every other day and ran on the days in between gym days. I was a God. 6'1" and 192 pounds. Now I'm about 218..give or take two pounds. :(

edit for typo

Yep.

Not only antibiotics, but hormones. Powerful hormones.

It's horrible.

I get my flu shot every year. It beats getting whatever flu variant is going around.

One year, I got the Hong Kong flu. It was a disease for psychodelic masochists -- The hallucinations were great... if you could stand the pain. :frown:

Allrighty then!! 24 hours later and I didn't get sick! :)

Hooray, Beer! :D

I guess all the aspirin/vitamins/beer/junk food did the trick.

When I woke up this morning, it felt like someone hit me one time, really hard, with a bat on every extremity on my body...it hurt...just ached all over. A hot shower and a cup o'joe and I'm feeling 10x better than yesterday. Not 100% but I'll get there.

Hooray, I didn't puke!!!
