I'll be driving cross county...and back

So my boss thought I needed a little vacation...She told me that I need to "plan" the next year ahead instead of asking her for days here and there, a month or two in advance...

so... I've always wanted to drive cross country, actually, from cali to tennessee...I might go the southern route and stay in texas for a week. If I dont do that, I'll probably hit 80 all the way across and back.

any suggestions?

FYI, I have one month off. 30 whole days...I'm guessing thats do-able. 🙂

I'll be driving my little acura...I'm guessing any snow won't be a real problem?

 
I'm usually a "friday here and there" poff kind of guy...I have over a month of vacation, so I'm within my rights... 🙂

BUT, I've always wanted to do this... I plan on visiting my family. If I go to Texas, I'd visit my sister.

I actually plan on moving to Tenn or Texas at some point 🙂

I'll be leaving mid feb, coming back mid march sometime.

I'm going by mylself.
 
sounds great, but I personally can't drive long distances...bring a camera, laptop and document things well so I can travel vicariously through you. 🙂
 
Why not do it in style? Rent a full-sized rear wheel drive car (e.g. Mercury) and take the the trip. Leave the Acura at home.
