Ofcourse what he did may have been correct in reguards to "some" of the inmates, why does he think he can trump our legal system? yes - it screwed up when these people were wrongfully covicted but let the courts repair their damage - not some lameduck govenor.

Perhaps the lame duck governer felt the need to step in (as is his right) because the courts are incapable of repairing themselves.

I think it was poor of him to decide his judgement was better than the legal system. I personally go back and forth on the death penalty but I don't think it was his right to do it. Of course we're about to get the new governor and I'm not particularly looking forward to him.

the death penalty is a thing of the past. Like the guy on CNN said, it's from medieval times and it's time the United States caught up to the rest of the world.

Try telling that to someone whose loved one has been murdered, especially if it is a child. Are there innocent people in prison? As big as the population is I would say yes. Are there inoccent men on death row? Probably yes. I don't dispute that fact.

If some sick ba$tard molested and killed my child or murdered a family member or wife, was convicted then was set free by some lame governor I would hunt that SOB down and kill him myself.

Caught up to the rest of the world? Like whom? Iran, Iraq or Africa? OK..I see we should stone them to death rather than an injection.
