IL-2 Sturmovik (orig!!!) keeps crashing

Hey guys, could you please help me?
Here's the deal: when I had upgraded my PC (you can see the specs in MY Profile) to what it is now, I wasn't been able to run IL-2 ever since! The problem is the same even after:
1) formatting the drive and reinstalling the OS (WinXP Pro Corp. edition)
2) Using Catalyst drivers beginning from 3.5 to 4.4
3) Using DirectX from 8.1 to 9.0b
4) using different rendering options, detail settings, sound, etc...

All to no avail... Patching doesn't help, nor does Ubi's support. Is there somekind of postfix command or something to get the game to run?
