IKEA is technically a charity??

What's more interesting is that the article mentions how Forbes listings are a bit 'american' centric.

There are plenty of people in the world that dwarf Gates...they don't share their financials nor have too.

I was recently working in the IKEA HQ in Amhult. The owner lives in a tax exempt canton in Switzerland. Like others have said, clever ah heck...

The distribution centre there had bays for over 470 trucks at the same time...and seeing the original shop was cool.

Nice. Now I can deduct the time spent putting together their furniture as a "charitable donation"

Impossible, he's European. And as we all know there is no great divide between the haves and have nots in Europe. They're a socialist paradise.

Ha. Ingvar, that clever fellow!

Damn clever fellow. Wouldn't work in Canada though. They check the percentage charities give out what they take in, if it is too low, you lose the charity status.
