Ikaruga

Haven't played it myself but a friend from work had it for his Dreamcast or Playstation if I recall correctly. Said it was a great game but VERY difficult. Awesome graphics, though.

yea the graphics are amazing. it was on DC i beleive cause if it was on PS i would have it

its also very hard. on EASY we could only make it to level 3

last night i made it to teh level 3 boss. with a lil more practace i coud beat 3 but then who knows

Haha, this thread does make me feel better about my game playing ability. I just thought I really sucked at the game, turns out everyone else does too 😀

Welcome to last year!

Edit - Don't be lumping me in with those who suck. I can hold max chain through a chapter and a half, and get to Stage 4 on a single credit.

Don't get me started...after reading that BB was clearancing them, only one local store has it in stock anymore, but it's far away...I've wanted this game so bad, and none of the rental stores have it either. bah. :|

Can someone explain how chains work and what they do? Are they just for score? Thanks

They're just for score. You have to kill three like colored enemies in a row to make a chain. I think each subsequent chain is worth more points. When you break the chain, you have to start over.

edit: I don't remember if the power up thingie builds just from chains or with each enemy. I'll have to start playing it again.
