The GR's are hard to keep up with 5 colonies. I stopped all other building until I got all the GR's up. Now, I'm just focusing on researchers, TH's, taverns, hideouts.

Should have museums tomorrow, so I can lower my wine intake some.

What's the best form of government in this game? I just got a few extra options and not sure if I should change from the default.

Hah, I just realized you guys are spreading like crazy ignoring your GRs in your original towns. I guess that works OK early but the penalty on production is huge once you cap the mines.

I won't drop a new town until all the existing towns have the GRs up so they will never see corruption.

I went with democracy for the satisfaction.

I am doing the same which explains the massive wood shortage 😎

Depends.

During peace time, I would go with democracy or aristocracy for the extra boost in satisfaction (democracy) or building build time reduction (aristocracy).

During war time, I would go with theocracy for the reduction in miracle cool down time. This is especially useful in war time because no one will fight without turning their forge miracle on. Forge miracle is like steroids for all your units. It lasts for 24hrs, but there's a 7 days cool down period before you are able to use the miracle again. You may reduce the cool down period by building additional temples in other towns with the same miracle.

Also, during the transition from one form of government to another your towns will be in chaos so your corruption level and satisfaction level will be off the charts. It will last 30 mins * number of towns you have.

I'd say the building time reduction is less useful, you won't produce+transport enough to keep your towns building all the time. I go days w/o building things in towns.

It helps when you are building up a new town and want to get it up to par. Other than that, yea, it isn't too useful.

The only one I like is the Hephaistos` Forge. It gives +armor and +attack%, some of the others are useful but most are junk.

edit: whatever you "pick" requires your island mates help since the bonus is based on island conversion %.

I just ignored temples. depending on all your islandmates sucks.

I'm all out of CT's atm...still getting hammered with requests. Not upgrading museums anymore til I get all my GR's up and start a new colony.
