Don't know what to tell you. The old servers are dying and they keep opening new ones. If you come to Theta, we could load you down with resources and help you grow faster, but you still have to compete with people that have been here for years. The mines are already upgraded, so you won't have to donate.

It would be a bit more fun to start on a new server where everyone is at the same level, but you'll have to make your own partners/friends

Yeah I guess I'll just stick to where I am at, by no means is it a new server but sounds like there isnt much reason to set up shop over on Theta

If there is a new server and people want give it a go.. count me in

Anyone with interest in checking out UK Server - Lambda, let me know

Bah, I'm bored. Started thinking about ATOTA on Ikariam. We should find a new browser game to dominate, ATOT.

It's still asking for a username and password, so it might still be charged and ready. :sneaky:

I don't remember them anymore though. Oh well. :\

My old bookmark must be out of date, because I don't even get that much.

I logged into Theta a few days ago to see what was going on. Doesn't seem much has changed in the game. Lots of people gone.

MMHK seems to be borked as well. If you're not a pay player, forget it.

Just remember the bugs, and all the times your massive armies abruptly teleported back home. That should help. :\
And between the complete absence of communication, and the programming team's absolutely incredible skill, it was impossible to tell if some behavior of the game was intentional, or else just another thing in the constantly growing list of bugs.

The chained attacks to loot massive quantities of gold early on were sure fun though. :D

Since no one has recommended a new browser game, I started up a new city on Theta. I realize I've kind of forgotten how to play.

...or how you needed to spend all day pillaging to somehow maintain a 2mil point army that cannot "kill" anyone.
All hail the Slinger Army....oh shit. They have a wall. Goddammit.

You'd think that after enough of them are killed by slamming their heads into the wall, the survivors would be able to simply climb over the wall, thanks to the giant pile of tenderized bodies.
I guess then the poor inept souls would just fall to their deaths on the other side.
Even so, then you'd have enough bodies over there to just climb down safely.
All the while, a few Cooks are in the back of the lines, just randomly hurling huge slabs of beef into the bloody throngs of wounded Slingers, bashing some unconscious in the process, in the hopes that maybe being whacked by an undercooked brick of meat will generate some additional morale. The doctors stand around, occasionally shouting particularly derisive insults at the enemy city, but otherwise do absolutely nothing.

Fun fun fun. :D

ElFenix: Have they re-re-redrawn the cost curves? Last I left, the high-level buildings were so insanely expensive that it would have taken months to accrue enough resources to do any additional upgrades. At one point, I believe it had been done up such that the warehouse couldn't hold enough resources to allow itself to be upgraded to the next level. I think then they just started allowing multiple warehouses. I also remember it taking more than 3 days to complete a single warehouse upgrade.

And I will not start up another account. That thing sucked up way too much time as it was. Those with no life can do some serious damage in that game; unfortunately, it mainly rewards time spent, not skill.
Well, sort of. :sneaky:

Ahh... the good old days, when the Failboat was delivering fails daily. It was so freaking awesome that our enemies can't understand how I could be hitting them anytime of the day, little did they know I was in Singapore at the time.

Failboat ahoy!

My islands hopping campaign was pretty epic.

Hahaha.... I remember the Spartan neffer navy full of paddle wheel rams...

Too bad I spend my scarce gaming time on D3, otherwise I might actually have some time to do browser games again.

... And holy necro post, batman!

I had given my account to someone in the alliance when I left. Within a month it was banned.
