started watching the sixers right after getting back from the round one game of NIT where PENN STATE got a buzzer beater to put them in OT and then WIN

Dayum. Sixers are one of those teams that can, and will, stink up the place one night, but retain the ability to look nearly all-world on any given other night.

They'll be one of those teams no one will really want to play in the play-offs, then they'll go down in 7 in style while sporadically looking good in the second round.

Eh, this was more about the Lakers blowing an easy opportunity than the Sixers outright beating the Lakers.

The Lakers have lacked that killer instinct all year and games like this are a result of what happens when you let a team back into the game. They had a 14pt lead to start the 4th. Unacceptable to lose, especially like that. Phil Jackson better wake his ass up and stop smoking all that reefer.

Which is why I'm glad it bit them in the ass tonight. They got to the point where they thought their shit didn't stink. That unless they flat out played horrible, or had another excuse like against the nuggets or Blazers, they would win in the end. That happened against Dallas, but not tonight. My guess is Phil isn't all that broken up over this loss, because he gets a big fat "told you so" to rub in their faces now.

I agree...i think the team needs a few losses to get it into their heads that they need to stop coasting. We're a month away from the playoffs and it seems like they only get up for games against the top teams.
