Isn't the i in i<insert name here> supposed to stand for Internet? iGoogle just makes me think, "google is already on the Internet"

I had no idea why the logo here:

changed to say iGoogle.

I think it's stupid. It does nothing and it confuses people. With the iPod and iPhone, I honestly thought there was an Apple tie in somewhere.
