ignoring dimensions of the form factor...

Assume an AT/Baby-AT motherboard will fit into a given ATX case.

Are the power and reset buttons of the ATX case compatible with the AT motherboard it will be housing?

Note: the power supply will be an AT power supply, so no worries there. I'm literally just talking about the power/reset buttons.

power supply being at means it needs a click on click off line voltage switch which is incompatible with the low voltage momentary pushbutton of the computer case. You will have to find a way to make it work yourself.

The form factor is somewhat compatible, though at had up to 8 slots and atx uses only 7. You will probably have to drill and tap your own standoff holes (or just drill them and use some 6-32 nuts on the back of the plate like I do)... at mounting locations are not predrilled in atx cases anymore.

at power supplies had the power switch attached, it was a single pole dual throw. you pushed it once to turn it on and pushed it again to tun it off. I doubt an atx case would be compatible without modding it.

the power switch is the blue thing in this pic.

u can not use a AT PSU for a ATX board.

Unless u were super handy with electrical and u could rewire all that 21 molex in the proper voltages.

Also the Green sense wire is kinda mandatory on new builds, as it determines the system's ability to go into hibernate.

aigomorla, he's talking about putting an at board in an atx case, I'm not sure that will work, not sure if the standoffs match.

at power supply will fit in an atx case, and an at board should fit as well, but you might need to go custom on some of the mounts
