The Charter cable guy is gonna be here very soon. The Toshiba PCX1100U can go in USB or via a network card. Which way should I go? Charter will provide the network card at no charge and Toshiba supplied both cables. I do use a USB steering wheel for online racing if that enters into the equation at all. As always any and all responses much appreciated.

Definitely go for the NIC - USB is speed limited to about 2Mb/s (I believe). You're also tied into that one PC, rather than having it on the network. If you choose to add more PC's and use a router later, you'll HAVE to use the NIC. If they give you a free NIC, you might as well take advantage of it, in any case.
