Here's the link of the manufacturer:

Never heard of this brand. Seems like a strong PSU on paper, certainly good enough for my use. Got any experience with it though? I won't be buying something so critical without some advice... didn't find any reviews on Google.

Actually its not a very strong PSU on paper. Lets just asume that the unit is able to supply a full 18A to each of the 2 +12V rails. Thats only 432W of the total PSUs output. A good 650W PSU should be able to put out more then 550W on the combined +12V rails. Chances are the best that unit can do is about 30A on the combined 12V rails. That right there tells me this isn't a very well designed PSU. As far as i know nspire is a very low end brand. You would be better off choosing another unit.

Nspire is ASI's house brand and they're typically relabeled Channel Well units.

looks like CWT with that bright yellow X capacitor and the green wrapped coils.

But the specs are more in line with an old PSH 550 or 500W design instead of a 650 Watt. Unless that write-up missed two extra 12V rails at 18A.

Hmm... will not do, then.

I'm set on a ThermalTake PurePower RX 600W. Maybe a bit overkill, butI can afford it and I'll be set on the safe side for good. 🙂
