*****FOUND IT***** Maybe you have a spare rig cheap,

I am looking for a websurfer here for my son (reader rabbit type games etc...) (trying to keep the surfing viruses off their main computer and have a computer of his own) he is only 7 so could fudge a bit on requirements. (say 700 mhz or above but prefer a 1 gig or better)

I would like to get at least :

1Ghz processor and mobo
256-512mb ram (I have win 98 and xp)
agp video card
psu
hdd (optional)

I dont have a lot to spare at the moment, but could pay between 50.00-75.00

I realize that may be too little but its all i have available this month.

I can pay with paypal or money order
Heat is under wolfsraider

Email is wolfsraider at lycos dot com (prefered contact as I check it the most frequently)
pms will be checked daily as well for a week though.

Thank you for looking
Mike

Mike, I have some 40Gb drives here, if you'd like one. Nearly new, shipping cost only from 95628. For that, I only need a couple of days of crunching. :)

 Why not? Nothing wrong whatsoever with buying / selling here within the community before trying other venues. I sure as hell would rather give up a rig to a fellow cruncher than just anyone...

EDIT: No need to change the title. You are definitely in the right forum. I think it was Nacelle that was in the wrong forum.

I think so too. Nothing wrong with a Long time DCer checking out any spares. Just like we have team mates sometimes post things for sale to other teammates. :)

Keep the title, Wolfsraider, get rid of the wrong forum bit. :)

... Mike, you were in the right forum. :)
You should always --- and I mean that --- check with your crunching friends. :D

And yes, we - those who voiced their opinion and who are oldtimers and some less old timers - still like to see you post here.

We also have a tradition of offering comps for sale and for looking for spare parts in this DC-forum. Why?
Because among team mates there is less trouble in trading - at least that is my experience.

Yep, I found the "disregard this thread" thread, too. :D

Although, maybe you should change it to "ignore"? :p

Some people haven't been ignoring this thread because they haven't been paying attention and don't know it exists.

Are we disregarding "I found it"?

So you didn't find it, but wait I cant ignore this if you didn't find it....

I would help you find it, but then I'd have to disregard that it was found.....

/me is sooooooo confused

could someone please ignore the disregard and find it.... then disregard it and ignore it
