i'm trying to do a simple project and for some reason i cant get my text box to have a scroll bar when the text exceeds the height of the box. is there an option in VSexp for this or do i need another control? note: i'm not trying to auto scroll, just...allow the user to scroll

You want to enable Multiline for the TextBox. You can also choose which scroll bars to show by using the ScrollBars property.
