It could make things worse, yes. But there's also a chance they could undo what EA has done, for example, to Bioware.

I highly doubt that. Nexon is a free-to-play company, so they would bring the free-to-play, pay-to-win/enjoy mindset. Enjoyed the $10 day 1 DLC for Mass Effect 3? Then you're going to love paying $1 for each weapon in Mass Effect 4! ;)

Or they could do what EA did to Origin, Bullfrog, Westwood and many others...

Origin and Westwood(not sure about Bullfrog), were hemorrhaging money. EA just shut them down, both were to blame for their own downfall/games being pure shit towards the end.

Nexon's cash assets of $1.55 billion. buy ea is easy

EA has $1.3billion in cash assets and $1.5billion in non cash assets. Yes their stock is low, but they in no way need to be bought out. EA is the largest publisher in the world. They posted a loss recently but as with all gaming, publishers make money then lose money. Its the nature and the risk of the game business. TOR will be profitable, not as profitable as they hoped. But they do have West and Zampenella cooking something up, which should allow them to print money for awhile, with a release sometime in the next 1.5-2 years.

There is very little chance EA is going to get bought out by a much smaller company.
