In addition to ifixit's store, the tool kits are being sold at other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and Lowes. Last year I grabbed their Pro Tech Toolkit and it's been handy.

iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit for $60.

* Harbor Freight also sells a similar kit for less. I would post the link but I can't get their site to work on either of my browsers.

iFixit is great, but I picked up a nearly free tool set off Amazon Haul as a stocking stuffer. 🤣

I bought an ifixit driver kit with all of the bits a long time ago and it's been great. I use it quite often.

I have never heard of Amazon Haul. Just checked it out. Lots of low cost stuff. It appears to be stuff on the regulr site with heavy discounts. Reminds me of Temu.

Yeah I have the iFixit Mako 64 bit set, from an old Fry's Electronics deal. I don't think they called it Mako at the time.
I don't have any other cool iFixit stuff, but they are fabulous.

That's the thing, the Temu junk is all crap. But whoever designed Haul let regular stuff leak into the department as "Brand scores."

And between BF & CM, lots of stuff was 50% off*. If you hit $50+ (which in reality was $25+), there were some additional discount tiers.

I'm kinda glad the deals ended, because I don't want to go back and buy more stuff. The flip side is that I don't expect 50% off to EVER return to Amazon Haul so this window has already closed. Kinda kicking myself now for not getting a few more Hanes hoodies yesterday: $4 each. Now $7.50

* Looks like a lot of stuff is now 25% off.

It probably deserves a thread in Hot Deals, but Amazon Haul is again running 50% off of select items. Some of the stuff I bought for Cyber Monday is again the same price, some items are a bit higher. (Not everything has the extra discount this time.)

Basically, you just have to ignore the mountain of Temu junk and try to find some real deals. For example, Thermalright TL-E12W-S case fan for $2.70 is a deal.

The main catch is that the return window is only 15 days (not extended holiday returns). The small catch is you have to spend $25 (pre- discounts) to get free shipping, but that's easily attained.

Looks like the 83c tool kit I bought is back, I need to take a look at mine and see if it's worth getting another one. 🤣

I picked up a half dozen small Amazon Haul items last time with the 50%+ off. I like that Haul list a bunch of "More no-brainer finds" below the item you're looking at. When I searched for one thing last time I found others things I wanted listed below it. The list is much better than the recommended items on the normal Amazon product pages.
