Vimeo, blip.tv, plenty of other video services out there. YouTube has fallen out of my favor. Too much censorship on there.

do they have the content that youtube has?
the one thing youtube has going for it is its sheer amount of content. it is the google of videos. i can type just about anything in the search field and it will shit out hundreds of relevant videos.

Quite literally, in fact.

Of course none of the other services have the amount of content Youtube does now, but if Youtube were shut down, the content owners would migrate elsewhere. Something would take its place.

I actually spend very little time on Youtube, so I've never really thought about it and I don't really care.

I think I only really use youtube to share music choices, but only because most people don't have something like zune pass so they can download anything they want.

Waidaminit...is this some kind of math humor? :p

If youtube shut down today, It'd probably be a couple of weeks before I even noticed it...and with the quality of some of the things that posters here have linked to, it might be a good thing if it did...
