Who are you to tell me whats expected of me?

Did I still offer suggestions to him? Did I not try to help him with his problem?

It was a mere joke, jesus christ get the fuck off your high-horse.

Nah. You're here enough, how could you have missed it?

I don't recall you doing it in the past month...

haha. actually the MOST recent one was right before I got banned, so, like 3 weeks ago.

I remember one before that, and if I recall correctly, the OP got thoroughly owned in that thread. You just tagged along to support IE.

Great. I never said IE was perfect. But Firefox is just as bad, just in different ways. Its dorks like you that jump on that fox' cock just to be 'geek cool'

Yeah, I chose my browser, not for efficiency, but to make everyone else think I'm "cool."
That's clearly why I go around sporting the fact that I use Firefox, right? Wrong. I suggest the better browser.

If firefox's rendering problem is the best arguement you've got, I feel bad for you.

My job involves web development.

It also involves making second versions of things specifically to work in Firefox. I'm not talking about stylesheets either, I'm talking about simple things like making things the size it clearly says in the code.

Firefox sucks.

i use IE far more than firefox, but i use both

firefox for pages that stay open all day and firefox for porn

IE for everything else

why?
IE is faster loading on the majority of sites i visit
IE is faster to use:
- open IE, hit ctrl+tab, type in URL -- open firefox, hit shift+tab THREE TIMES, type in url
Sounds minimal right? Not when I spend 15 hours a day on a computer...constantly opening and closing browsers.

Tabbed browsing? I hate it.
It slows me down. Alt + Tab for life

as far as the rendering and parsing issues, both browsers have inconsistencies :(

Yet his website does not appear correct in Internet Explorer, meaning he has to recode for Internet Explorer users. So, Internet Explorer sucks?

Damn straight, I'm glad someone else hates tabbed browsing as much as I do.

LoKe....in your desire to post as much as possible you forget to read. Reread what I said a few comments back. its in response to your latest bullsh!t.

Interesting arguments. There are modifications you can make to firefox to make it load faster, but I believe it already loads faster than Internet Explorer.

Shift+Tab three times...hm...use the mouse? o_O

Tabbed browsing just makes more sense, less clutter and it's easy to scroll through tabs (ctrl+tab numer).

Everyone has their reasons though...

no his "coding" or development sucks. I've been doing design and development for over 7-8 years and I've never had a problem getting things to work in IE. It's really not that hard.

i can imagine tabbed browsing would suck if you had 13 tabs open and the whole program crashed, but it hasnt happened to me yet - and i haven't found it to be a resource hog at all, so i just stick with it.

So now your argument is that Firefox has more features, thus, it sucks?
You say it has problems as well as Internet Explorer, but it seems to be only rendering that you've been able to complain about.

Now, Internet Explorer has a rendering problem, as stated in the OP. Plus, it has security holes, which we all know exist. You require more programs to make it "more efficient" (ie : pop-up blocker).

So how can you still argue that Internet Explorer is "better"?

EDIT : Okay, let's assume Internet Explorer doesn't have coding problems...A good web developer can adapt his coding to make it compatible, so, making it compatible for Firefox shouldn't be much of an issue at all.

I'm not here to persuade anyone into using Firefox, I merely suggest it. If you insist on sticking to Internet Explorer, and can develop with it aswell, more power to you. All I'm saying that Firefox is a better choice, whether you think so or not.

Usually, when FF crashes, if it's been set up properly, it will restore the tabs that were open.

No, firefox doesn't suck because of tabbed browsing, I just don't like tabbed browsing. That's a personal issue.

You know what's really funny? IE has so many security holes. IE requires extra things to block popups....I've never had a problem with security, never gotten a worm or virus using IE, and my google toolbar has a grand total of 8 popups blocked. Welcome to IE SP2.

Whether YOU will admit it or not, Firefox is NOT a better choice. Think what you want though.

Wow...Deeko...good job coming off as a d!ck...
I'd like you to point out a time when I didn't come off that way when I argue on here....
