I renewed my contract with T-mobile and they offered to give me a discount on the Blackberry Pearl 8100. They said that $89 is the best they can do, so I ended up getting it.

Today, I go to Sam's Club and they're offering the same phone for $28 with a renewed 2-year T-mobile contract!! WTF. I called T-mobile and they said I can return the phone, cancel my agreement, and then go back to Sam's Club and start again. *sigh*

Sam's Club rocks.
 
The only problem with getting the contract and phone through Sams Club is that T-Mobile doesn't have to honor any agreement since it wasn't made directly through them. Same thing with getting deals through Amazon and such.
 
By the way I don't think you need to be a member of Sam's club to partake, like the photo center. I know that in the case of BJ's you don't have to be a member of BJ's to get the cell phones through the vendor on site. I think they are an independent contractor.
