I plan on graduating after our fall quarter of 2005, or about 15 months..and I believe I have the choice of walking the stage either this coming June or the following June. It seems this coming spring will be too early for that, as I wouldn't be a true graduate for 6 months, but on the other hand walking the stage 6 months after I'm done with everything seems like a huge stretch. I'll have lost all touch with college friends, and there won't be anything to do that night.

The more sensible choice then it seems would be to walk this coming June and then just finish it all that following quarter..thoughts?

I'd walk before. Six months after you may have moved elsewhere for a job or something.

I'd choose neither. Walking before you really graduate seems cheesy to me, I would feel really awkward sitting with other graduates as my degree has yet to be earned. Yet having to come back to your school after so many months would make me feel like it's silly and a waste of time.
