If you're ever feeling down.....

All things considered I've had a pretty rough last three weeks. It hasn't been all bad mind you, but the net effect has been pretty crappy and i've been feeling really down on myself. Blockbuster Online sent me Enchanted in the mail, I really didn't even want to watch it, I ordered it because it was a new Blu Ray disc at the time, but I was bummed out, didn't feel like socializing, and needed something to do.

Fast forward two hours later and I'm feeling very content and happy with my life right now. The movie was nothing special in itself, a kid's fairy tale without much humor. Maybe it's the music, the upbeat and nice actors, and/or the never-failing uplifting stories in a completely jaded world. Maybe it was just the two hours spent not being reminded of all the crummy things in my life and the world as a whole.

I finished the movie and as I got up to turn of the PS3, I tore my pants. 😛 Obviously this movie didn't cure my minor run of bad luck, but even though, I still feel a lot better.

Go Disney!

Pretty good film. I liked the music too.

Famous quote from the movie Bambi said by Thumper in the cutest little bunny voice, "If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all."

It's the subliminal messages. They're trying to get you addicted.

Ain't that the truth! I remember seeing a while back a flash animation that showed the various "hidden gems" in some of the Disney movies...

There are a few that I really don't enjoy watching, but for the most part they are what the OP says. 🙂

And Something Wicked This Way Comes. Holy shit that movie is freaky. I can't believe that gets rated PG with some of the benign stuff they rate PG-13.

Only if they're made by Pixar. Enchanted was ok, didn't do much for me. Amy Adams was pretty hot, but got annoying at points.
