If you're at a Unversity and have an Academic Software Prices List, How much is VS.NET ??

I think my University's microcomputer sales webpage is wrong, it only shows it at $84.05 for Visual Studio .NET ... It even says Visual Studio .NET Professional (doesn't indicate academic version..., and shows a picture of the PRO box)

Price: $84.05
SKU: BBWNSN009 (Old Part No.)
Mfg: Microsoft
Mfg. Part No.: 659-00845

-Providing the most modern and feature-rich development environment, Visual Studio .NET provides developers with the tools for integrating solutions across operating systems and languages. With Visual Studio .NET, developers can easily convert existing business logic into reusable XML Web Services, encapsulating processes and making them available to applications on any platform. Developers can easily incorporate any number of Web Services that are cataloged and available in many independent UDDI director

Just wondering if this is totally wrong or right ??

Hmm my school has a license through which they can distribute any M$ product except Office for free 🙂. So I get VS.Net for free.

lol and we ONLY get office for free ....hahaha Office XP and Frontpage 2k2 are the only ones we get... though they also let you BORROW visual studio 6.0 and windows XP, just to install and return within 3 days...i guess that could count as getting it for free... but OfficeXP we get to keep....heh

If thwy let you borrow WinXP then they must give you an activation key, meaning that if you burn a copy of the CD, WinXP is yours to keep, no? 🙂
