Counting cards at the single deck blackjack table?

I don't think you're gonna find a place stupid enough to use a single deck anymore.

I was in Vegas about a month ago and played some single deck. Generally to play single deck you either have to accept crappier payouts (6 to 5 instead of 2 to 1) on blackjack, other modified rules (can only double down on 10 or 11, can't double after split), or higher limits (or some combination of the above). You can generally play double deck without so many rule alterations.

I mainly play downtown; on the Strip I would not expect to see many (if any) single-deck tables, except maybe at the cheaper casinos.

This list is not completely comprehensive, and could be a touch out of date, but as it notes both Four Queens and Binion's have single-deck tables.

High school teacher?
Just having to remember all those student's names and homework grades would be exhausting enough for normal people, let alone the fear of getting shot up by a bunch of gun-toting teenagers.

They write down the grades, who memorizes the grades? And some of them dont know their student's name by the end of the year.

The problem with using it for gambling is if you went in and won all the time they would just make up an excuse to not let you in. They have the right to refuse service to anyone and trust me if all you did was take money from them they would excercise that right.

As I'm sitting here watching MNF I had to think....

What about an offensive/defensive coordinator? If you had an uber memory you could watch game tapes of other teams and memorize the formations and recall what they are doing faster and wire it down to the coaching staff.
