Your pretty confident. Friends/Concrete Proof? You seem like a clever guy, wouldn't you want to know from anyone and then do your own research? Try and net her? If someone told me they saw my SO holding hands with another guy, Id be happy he told me and is looking out for me even if he is wrong and she was with her cousin etc.

Yes I would want to know, but I would definitely want my SO to tell me, not someone else. That would lessen the blow at least because at least she respected me enough to tell me honestly and that I prize above most other characteristics in any of my relationships. Unless we were married, more than likely it would end the relationship, but if she was honest about it (after some time), maybe, there could still be a friendship (although that may not be possible either.

I wouldn't want anyone else to come to me telling me who they saw my SO with. They can handle their relationships, and I'll handle mine. I'm perfectly capable of finding out if my SO is cheating on me by myself.
