You can only pick one answer though, so maybe people would love their child the same whether they were male or female
But by allowing people only one choice, it's obvious that people are by far more concern about their son being gay than their daughter.
Or they have a more polarized thought about male homosexuals in general (either accepting or ostracizing) and are more middle-of-the-road about lesbians.
Or both the male choices on the poll are above the female choices.
Maybe they have a son and not a daughter. Maybe the fact that the fourth poll choice says "loveR her" affects it.

wouldn't make any difference to me. I'm not a bigot.

I'd love them regardless. Just because they chose to love the same sex doesn't mean they aren' t a person. If you love someone than you should love them unconditionally.

Exactly. If my future kid swings that way...it is his/her decision.

gay people don't exist. straight people don't exist. we're all bisexual! I mean as long as you don't try to suppress attraction to certain sex because you think it's "wrong", you can be attracted to whoever you want to, be it male, female, or other
I just think most people are afraid of being attracted to a particular sex because they want to be indentified as either "gay" or "straight". As for my "sexual preference", as though that really exists, I don't think I'm what most people would call "gay" because I tend to not be attracted to people of the same sex, as much as of the opposite sex. but I don't think I'm what most people would call "straight" because I'm not opposed to being attracted to the same sex.Originally posted by: SXMP

That's really an interesting take on things. Care to explain that? As well as your sexual preference?
