We gather that the NASD is hosting a reception in the One Liberty Plaza, NY building tonight from 7 - 10 p.m. for members of the House Finance Sub-Committee. In light of the press accounts of confrontations some protestors have had with delegates, you may wish to leave the premises prior to the start of the reception.

Hopefully, I can get out of the building without getting egged.

The civil rights protesters were peaceful. They only broke those laws they were opposed to (like the Jim Crow laws). THAT is what civil disobedience is: breaking a law you disagree with, and having the courts decide if it is constitutional.

These protesters have completely turned the idea of civil disobedience on it's head. They break laws that have NOTHING to do with what they are protesting, and claim they have a right to do so because it's "civil disobedience."

There is NO comparison between the civil rights protesters and these idiots. NONE.
