It'd care a whole lot for me, since I'm one of the three last that carries the name in this country. Gotta preserve your name >.<.

I wouldn't care, as long as our kids can carry on MY name (I'm the only male child of my parents). My girlfriend has three brothers to carry on her family name. 🙂
 
depending on what her name is i'm not all that oposed to taking on HER name. my family has been one screw up after another and i'm not so sure the name deserves to be carried on.
