Still have an unopened box around here somewhere.

😛

I was a cereal hound when I was young. If it was out there I ate it. Even tried Grape nuts. Had it in the morning, after school and sometimes for dinner when my parents neglected to feed me.

We think alike, brother.

Anyway, that was at least 26 years ago. 20 years ago we had Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island running on the Super FX2 chip for Super NES and Super Mario 64 was being demonstrated at trade shows.

Well maybe he bought a huge back log of the stuff when they began phasing it out, and was eating it even years later when it went stale. :colbert:

Blegh

To start:

Add some fruit and honey, awesome.

These are like holy, or something.

But, yea, third I tend to agree with.

Always keep a big tub at the office for mornings I don't get time to eat before work.

Then congratulations. You're not a child anymore.

Egads. On a forum where so many members seem to understand that diamonds aren't rare, but they've had an incredibly effective marketing campaign, I'm disappointed that so many members seem to have fallen prey to the cereal marketing campaigns starting when they were watching Saturday morning cartoons. Hell, it's like the cigarette advertising of yesteryear - get the kids hooked on your shit and you've got customers for life. "omg! But it's part of a good breakfast!" It's shit.

And... it was invented by Kellogg as an anti-masturbation food. After reading posts here for quite a few years, I'd say that if Kellogg were alive today, and saw this thread, he'd roll over in his grave. 😛

never had any of them, except porridge once but I didn't like that, especially the texture was bad.

I used to like Cream of Wheat.

on a side note: Kelloggs closed their plant here after nearly 100 years in operation. 🙁

Oh yeah, Grape Nuts and oatmeal are there too.

But usually it's just a toasted English muffin with butter, and a cup of tea in the morning.

Cereal sometimes for the kids, though pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, eggs, ham, fruit (even better if straight from the yard) are all common as well.
