I'd disown her - the only reason she would take such a job would be either because of intention to disregard all that I would have taught her.
 
I'd certainly be a little disappointed. but I am not going to control her life. All I can do is try to raise her the best I can to be a "good" person. If its her choice its her choice, I'm certainly not going to disown her. If it was a son my reaction is the same.
 
I wouldn't necessarily be pissed... I'd just be embarrassed when I have to tell the relatives. It'd be even more interesting if they saw her on tv first ... 😉
 
I would tell her that if she is satisfied with her profession and is conducting herself in a professional and safe manner, then I will respect her decision.
 
Well considering that she/he would probably make more money than all of us.
I would probably not be too pissed.
She/He would make their own life choices. At that point they would be older and responsible enough to make thoes decisions.

Well it depends on what kind of XXX. If it's of good quality with a big company, then WTH should I care. If it's something some ahole is shooting in his backyard garage business, then I think I'd be really pissed off.

I think you'll suffer when your daughter marries some really unpleasant guy (they always are to fathers, I think). It's some some subconscious jealousy.

Now I haff to question:

1) What kinda relationship do you have wit yo daughta that requires her to resort to selling her body instead of coming to you and asking for some financial help.

I would disown her, and sue her for a percentage of her paychecks because I worked hard so that she wouldn't have to take a job like that.

I would be cool with it. As long as shes safe and treated alright I would be alright with it.

As for the son he can do whatever job he wanted. Its a job and I take it a job that he'd rather do then another job and he probably enjoys it. I would hope either would quit and do something else if they got in to a serious relationship leading towards marriage........
 
i would probably blame myself if it were my girl.

if it were my son i'd slap him over the head and tell him to get a real job.
 
I would call her a whore and tell her that she has to quit or else I would disown her. It would be a one time offer non-negotiable. This goes for Cinemax porn or XXX porn.
 
if she were living under my roof, i wouldn't allow it

if she's over 18, living on her own, and supporting herself...i wouldn't disown her. she's old enough to legally make her own decisions, especially if she's supporting herself (financially) and living on her own. i would be disappointed and maybe heartbroken, but she would still be my daughter and would need me as much as i would need her. i think disowning a child would hurt more than most decisions they could ever make, especially that one. oh yeah and i'd make sure to know what movies she's in...so that i can steer clear of em'.

same thing would go for my son...no double standards here.

but...ima make sure i raise my kids well enough that they wouldn't pull some sh*# like that on me.
