If your current profession disappeared, what would you do?

Re-invent my profession and make a few billion dollars in no time at all, cash out, live well.

I'm a traffic reporter and there's always going to be traffic. I suppose if worse comes to worse, I could go back to being a driver. Then again I'd rather have my testicles deep fried that go back to that horses--t.

You're that guy that never tells me what's going on on my route!

If my profession disappears, that means it's the end of civilization as we know it, and I wouldn't do shit then.

If my profession didn't exist then I'd be living in a post apocalyptic world and would therefore be a zombie, dead, in hiding, or king of my slice of the world.

If I decided to change professions then I haven't a clue wtf I'd do but I like working with my hands and could see getting into wood working, metal working, or the medical field.

If you are srs, I got mine at CafePress. Right now they only have it in a golf shirt, and Reacher would never wear one of those. ;P

It has the same design, so if you email them they can probably print one on a tshirt. In my case, a long sleeved light grey. Otherwise, just google "Jack Reacher" tshirts.

Thanks. Found Tees here but don't want the cover on the back. Not to mention $31.

Edit: searched cafe express for "reacher" and they have a lot of others.

"Save Jack Reacher" because, supposedly,
Jack Reacher fans! Hollywood is about to turn Jack Reacher into a joke. They've cast Tom Cruise to play Jack Reacher. This cannot happen.
Tom Cruise????WTH?

Sad shit, right here.

Yea, my pharmacist saw me with my WWRD? shirt on and thought it would be cool to break the news that OMFGTOMCRUISE is playing "that guy"! Normally I would have grabbed him by his long hair and slammed his face into the counter, but then I realized he doesn't really know who Reacher is, evidenced by the fact he referred to him as 'that guy'.

Who do you think would play Reacher best? I have been having a hard time matching my mental picture of him with an actor. I think the best idea would be someone new, and do it right. It would be worth the investment to find just the right dude since there are so many potential movies from the series.

One thing is for sure, that midget Cruise would be the worst, and he would be $$$$$. Just think if someone sees Cruise as Reacher and then starts reading the books. They would be like Cruise is supposed to == Reacher? WTF?

Surely they could find a 6'5" 240lb decent actor for the part. I'd gladly take a no name over T.C. I won't be seeing the movie.

I'd probably pick up something that doesn't require much training like mowing in the summer, snowblowing in the winter, and try to undercut local businesses. You can at least start these professions with a relatively low amount of money, and possibly work your way up to using a truck and snowplow, or even starting your own landscaping business over time.

The problem is that there would probably be a ton of competition, but in my area these businesses seem to do pretty well.

Or Rocky.D:

Good call. Or Dolph Lundgren.

I am going to do some looking around, have some free time. There has to be someone better than a 5'4" manlet-Scientologist.

Anyone know of a decent actor that is around 6'5" and 250 pounds give or take? Finding this person is srs business.
