"Ten times Trump asked [German chancellor Angela Merkel] if he could negotiate a trade deal with Germany. Every time she replied, 'You can’t do a trade deal with Germany, only the EU,'" the official said.

They continued: "On the eleventh refusal, Trump finally got the message, 'Oh, we’ll do a deal with Europe then.'"

“Yeah, it’s funny. One of the best chemistries I had was with Merkel,” he said, according to published transcripts.

He's competing with Dubya.

It was the first thing that came to mind when thinking about this wall.

Wanna bet that Donnie comes up with a "NATO is gonna pay for the wall, with all the money they owe" - plan soon ?

Why don't we just have the cartels fund the wall. Our war on drugs had filled their pockets so full, it's like Trump change to them

A wall will do next to nothing to stop drug flow, Trump is an idiot as always. The cartels have more money to throw at smuggling than the enforcement agencies have to try and stop them. Never mind there are three more sides without a wall that the drugs can be moved through...

The show will go on and never stop until drugs are legalized and the legitimate market puts the cartels out of business.
No, No The wall is going to go all the way around 'Merica, through the ocean along the line marking international waters too. Based on the promise that it gets 10 feet taller every time Mexico denies paying for it, I think it is going to be 10000 feet tall now. Mexico better work on their economy if they ever want to pay it off.

It gets better every day. Deny Climate Change and Environmental Basics but beware upward pressure from Drug cartels and brown people. While from the North we are stopping those wiley lumberjacks from raising prices on wood. Will there be a wall around Miami, Florida or all border states?

What's amusing is that Mar-A-Lago will be submerged due to his policies, or lack thereof. He'll likely be dead by then though, so it's probably "FYGM" to him.

A review of said transcript :

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...us-president-world-trade-center-a7698516.html

"Several hours after the attacks on 11 September 2001, during which almost 3,000 people died, Mr Trump was interviewed on radio and claimed that since the Towers came down, he now owned the tallest building in Manhattan. He was also condemned for claiming around $150,000 of government funds for small businesses to get back on their feet after the attacks."

The more I think about it, President Trump is the penultimate example of old rich white men getting a pass at being incompetent in their jobs because they are old rich white men. It's amazing how much of a pass people are willing to give him. If Obama's first 100 days were this terrible he'd have been run out of Washington by Republicans, Democrats, the Media, "Deep State" civil servants and lay citizens. No one would defend him.

I know what you're saying, but I don't think you're using that word correctly.

I'd imagine that if Obama had been this bad that there would have been assassination attempts on him by his 100th day by some right wing Bundy types. Those same types would probably take a bullet for trump now though.
