If you live in one of the states that has "Big Game" and if you were so inclined to buy a ticket and win; what would be the first thing you would do?

I'd go to work and get on the PA and start singing "You're not the boss of me now" until they dragged me out of the building...

But that's just me...;)

Sorry, paraphrase of Office Space, first thing I thought of when I read the post.

We used to have a big pool in the hospital I worked in.I hated the place soo much that there was a running joke among my peers that if we won, I'd don an outragously inappropriate outfit ,lite a tiparello and waltz into the unit manager's office, put my feet on his desk and annouce that I wasn't working there anymore and that I'd flick my ashes into the SOB's hand just prior to exiting :D

I'll tell you, we never won the big prize but just the discussion of that fantasy made the price of the pool well worth it :D

Move back down south, build a huge $20 million house outside of New Orleans. I'd have enough room for everyone who has been a true friend to me. I'd buy a Corvette, set $20 Million aside, and give the rest to charity.

That has a very Bette Davis vibe: "What a dump!" *flick* "You may take your little job, little man and shove it up your backside." *flick*;)

Lol Uber, this guy was a class A you know what, he was one of those anal retentives that was really a true blue perv underneath but walked around trying to come across as holier than thou.. those of us that saw thru his act and those of us that called him on his fumbling advances usually remained on the top of his Crap list.Lol, he was sooo upset when the place was sold and some of us got good buyouts, it killed him to have to hand me those checks.. hahaha, I sat there grinning like a cheshire cat :D

I'd take the lump sum. That would be something like 150 million. After taxes something like 105 million.

I'd pay off all my bills, sell my company, invest everything and earn over 5 million a year minimum.

What happened after that would be pure gravy :)

I cant believe some of you. YOu would have 90 MILLION dollars in cash, and all you would want is a new truck or a corvette?!

Let's see...

First, the obvious, pay off the bills and the taxes on that money
Then, an Audi S8 and I'd mod it, too :)
Then, a two-week trip to, oh, Bali or the Seychelles.
Then, time to let reality set in and figure out how to invest it so I could live off of a measly 5-10 million a year and never touch the principal
Then, build my dream home (acutally...no more than about 3500 sq. ft with a home theater room that would make Lucas drool) on about 30-40 acres with horses (and hire all the help to take care of the land and the horses :) )
Then, help out family/friends (take care of my grandparents first, then get homes for my sisters and stepbrothers)
Then, rent out an entire hotel in, oh, New York City and fly all of my family/friends up there and PARTY for a weekend!

After that...dunno...travel but not enough to interfere with my girls' schooling. Summers would find us hitting a different country each week maybe :)

Donate some to charity (esp. Alzheimer's research)

Oh...and build one HECKUVA SETI crack rack! :D

Wow. That's a lot of money! I'd give a lot of it to churches/ministries/family. Probably keep about 50 million for myself and....gosh...invest it or something. :) But I don't play the lottery, so that'll never happen.
