:thumbsup: <-- I wish I could make that icon bigger! My grandparents used to live in Hendersonville, NC (south of Asheville) and it's gorgeous. I hope to move or at least retire in that part of the country someday.

Beyond the weather and scenery, the cost of living is great. We tried to get down there back in 1982, but there were no jobs to be had, and the interest rate was at 18%. Just wasn't meant to be, but maybe someday...

I agree completely Ornery. I grew up visiting my Papa in Asheville. I loved it so much.

living in Phoenix this summer for an internship, and I love it..I think I might just try to move here after i graduate, dependent on the job situation of course..
