Which place would you go to?

I've been going through several websites to see which ones have the best prices. All I want is to register a name. Hosting will not be an issue, nor will email be.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

GoDaddy go!

maybe network solutions for a business domain, though I've used godaddy for secondary domains at work.

I use Dotster... they run promotions fairly frequently and you can get domains cheaply... after you've purchased at least one domain, so you're on their mailing list. I've had nothing but good luck with them.

GoDaddy was been a PITA to me 2 out of 2 times that I tried to deal with them.

i say godaddy, too. and if you want to be anonymous and not be found on WhoIs, you can do that there, too.

You pay them more and they can mask your personal information so people can't look up your name/address/e-mail address.

I would use mediatemple and godaddy. Although godaddy sounds like a pornlink. ;)

Godaddy.
Without hesitation. They are reliable, established, and cheap... why even consider elsewhere ? Kinda like Newegg eh ? :D
