I'd have airlifted Red Dawn into Afghanistan and waited for him to come back, dragging Osama by the *****, and then send in aid to clear out all the dead, singed Al Queda fighters.

I actually think Bush and the advisors he appointed did an excellent job, even though I voted for Gore I don't think he'd have had the backbone to send ground troops into Afghanistan -- at most he'd have lobbed a cruise missile or two or maybe an airstrike. I have nothing but praise for Bush as a war leader.

Domestically, it's shameful how he colluded with Big Oil to try to ram through ANWR drilling for "national security," how he's letting Ashcroft trample states' rights in Oregon to make the Christian Fundamentalists happy, and how his Justice Department gave Microsoft a free pass to abuse its power.

So if I had been the president I'd have acted internationally like Bush, domestically like Gore.

I honestly can't for the life of me understand why the airspace over NYC wasnt shut down immidatley after the first plane. I was in a computer lab doing work when I got an IM form a friend who told me about the plane and I knew the second I heard that it was terrorist. There was ample time to get attack choppers up there and yet people didnt want to believe that it was terrorist until it was WAY too late.

No Gore et. al. would have gone on the offensive just as Bush and Company did. The WTC, pentagon and white house were targetted for Pete's Dragon's sake.

Since this was done by a group lead by a man whos fortune was made in construction, I do not know what that would have done except throw the economy into a tail spin. We need their oil more than they need to sell it right now. Saudis have lots of cash on hand, and the Iraquis have been embargoed, so no harm there.

HAHAHAHAHA! Attack Choppers? Pfft. You don't use an Apache to take down a plane. Besides, last time I checked, Fort Hood isn't anywhere near NYC. In addition, the closest Interceptors avaliable (Air National Guard) are in Syracuse and Atlantic City, which is pretty far from NYC. Sure, you can close the airspace, but what good is it if you don't have any interceptors in the air? The US hasn't really been attacked by air with planes, they weren't exactly keeping air force fighter wings on alert.

I would apologize for being caught with my pants down.

Then promise change and reform and acutally follow through my words. I would replace the FBI directorybecause clearly he dosnt know how to do his job.

I would send every avliable man power to afganstan and hunt down osma bin laden. Then I will address the nation and ask the common citizen to rise up and join arms to hunt down osma bin laden.

Then I will commision an task force similur to the group in Swordfish. Where terriosim is fought with terrioism. Country that harbor terrioist are warmed we will retalate ten fold. Kill 1 of our people and 10 of yours will die. <- yes this suck but I would cosider because as a nation we are to protect its citizen in whatever way possible. That is the most important priorty of goverment. We will use any force nessary to deal with active terrioist through out the world that deem to be a treat to national security.

Then again I will invistgate enron for stealing money off everyone. Order the attorny general to go after those officer of enron and Anderson. If they are at fault i want them to be locked up forever. I would ask congree to cough up money to buy the site of WTC and build a mormreal so we can forever remember.

And when its all over i will then make fundemtal policy to make reforms and fix all the BS in the goverment.

It is because for all these reason I will never be President.

The president is privvy to information that we civilians aren't. It's impossible to say what I would have done, as there are still things that Bush knows that we don't.
