I would ask him why when he has the power to open the eyes of Americans he chooses to exaggerate things. With a little more research and truthfulness he has the potential to change the world. Take Bowling for Columbine. He is so dead on about Americans being so heavily driven by fear. How does he attempt to prove it? He goes to some podunk town in Canada and shows that people there have their doors unlocked. So? there are towns in the US that are like that. If he wanted to really prove his point he should have gone to a major Canadian city.

The power to do so much good...wasted. 🙁

Wasn't that podunk town Toronto? Like 3 million people podunk. EDIT: It was Sarnia, Winsor and Toronto. Pretty far from being podunk towns.

These threads and these discussions of Moore always amuse me. Its the same everywhere you hear and every thread. People who don't like him never bring up facts about what parts of his films were wrong or have any arguments against his points of view... the number one point that is brought up is something derogitory about his size or looks or something along those lines. Every conversation... watch for it next time. I hear the next presidential debates they are just gonna throw rocks and sticks at each other.

Although i dont agree with him on everything, i respect what he is doing. Right or wrong, he is trying to make a difference in this country.
Kind of like Bush, i dont like him for alot of reasons but i respect him.

As for you that say "id kick him in the nuts!". We all know thats horsecrap, you would be fumbling for that canon digi camera so you could post on AT that you have pics of a fat guy.

very true. out of about 50 or so hatred replies, i have yet to see someone prove him wrong. if you can accuse him of not being able to stand his argument, neither can you point out what's wrong with his movie.

unless you have hard solid proof that his movie was all made up bunch of lies, please, shut up so you don't look stupid.

I would not say that everything in his movies were lies but there were definitely a lot of half truths. Moore is an expert at editing and leaving out points he does not agree with or meet his agenda. This has been proven on many occasions in several of his films.

I would ask him why he just does not just move to France or Canada.

I thought Fahrenheit 9/11 seemed exaggerated, but man there's a lot of hatred for Moore on this board!

Seriously, if he ever came up to me on the street I wouldn't give him the time of day. Yes, America is doomed and Bush is the antichrist.... :disgust:

However, Michael Moore has been very useful to some people. In fact I wish there were more of him..thankfully, it seems his kind is protected by environmental law...
