Reasonably, I would personally love a Fox-body notchback Mustang with (of course) the 5.0 in it. Glossy black paint, and tinted slightly windows. (Similar Pic)

Had one of those mustang fun car.

Question is too broad. I guess I'd select a 94 mazda miata turbo since thats what I bought to replace the mustang 🙂. Now it I don't have to pay for it that opens up a lot more options.
 
MKIV Supra. I've driven an mk3 my entire driving life (still my daily) and I consider buying one all the time. But finding one that hasn't been modded, regardless of mileage, at a reasonable price is awful.

However, I am coming up on 200k miles on an mk3 supra turbo on its factory head gasket. I dont know of any others that have done that. 1200 miles to go, here's to not jinxing it 🙂

EDIT: You asked options. MK4 Supra Turbo, bone stock, royal sapphire pearl, 6spd.

there would only be two that i would take. in absolute stock form as well. no changes to body or engine or interior.
first one would be the Toyota 2000GT
and a Ford GT-40 MK IV

i would probably take the toyota 2000gt though. just because its a one of a kind car. you cant find something like that anywhere.

Really? Nothing else that looks almost exactly the same but came out 6 years earlier? And has higher performance? They even copied the dual, center-mounted exhaust.

The 2000GT was a great car, but it is hardly "one of a kind". It's the best of the Japanese E-Type copies to be sure, but it isn't unique.

To answer the OP's question though... For a "fun" car, it's an easy answer for me. 1995 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6. The last and greatest of the RWD Porsche 911 Turbos. It's the end of an era. Last of the truly "dangerous" tail-happy 911 cars, last of the truly "difficult children" from Porsche. I make no apologies for romanticizing this car. There are faster cars, there are cars that handle better, there are cars that do both for less money, but it is this car with which I am in love.

Hey ZV, while i'll admit that they are very similar. the toyota 2000gt does have quite a few differences in appearance. the nose isn't as long, it has an extra set of foglights/headlights, and a few differences in the front. very similar but i would still take the 2000gt over that jag. i just like the look of the headlights when they go up and how it all looks. performance wasn't an issue when i choose the 2000gt, otherwise i would go with the gt-40. i just like the 2000gt's aesthetics.
