I'd go back to Sept 11th bring a couple friends with me, we would each go to the airports where the terrorists came from, and take off all our clothes and pretend we have bombs strapped to us, so that we would cause such a mass panic in those airports, the flights would be delayed, and the terrorists would never make it to the planes. EDIT: See, if you go back and change something, then you wouldn't have a reason to go back and change it because it will have happened differently. But then because there wasn't a reason to go back and change it, you wouldn't have gone back to change it. Which would mean that it would happen and then you'd have a reason to go back and change it. And then when you went back to change it, it wouldn't have happened, so you wouldn't have a reason to go back and change it, so it would have happened... Catch the circularity?

Since it has to be in MY past and I was only born in 1983, it'd have to be between 83 and now. I wouldn't go back to Sept 10th 2001 though. The terrorist power base had already grown too strong by that point. If we'd stopped the Sept 11th events, they'd have tried something else, the US was too complacent and ignorant to care. Americans cared for a few years after 9/11 and then forgot again. I'd likely gather information about where Bin Laden and other terrorist cowards were at a specific date in early 2001 and get the military to eliminate them.

Also, I'm surprised no EU members have stated they do anything about the various terrorist bombings in Spain and England that occurred after 9/11.

Correct, though it's a very hard thing to be faced with. My daughter's life has been complete and total chaos and hell as a result of everything. She really has almost no chance at even semi-normalcy now.

Everyone around me has suffered endlessly as a result, not just me. Bankruptcy, medical issues from stress, total rifts and lost loved ones, etc. It was the single largest disaster in my extended family.

If it was just as simple as my life being a pain because of it, I'd be fine with it. But I destroyed a LOT of people by marrying my ex, including my daughter.
