How would you transfer the contents of the hard drive? Pluggin the old one as a slave? Using disk image software like Image cast or Norton Ghost? Straight transfer from serial ports?

The easiest and most efficent way would be to use an imaging program of some sort. I sudgest you go download the demo of the the new Norton Ghost @ Cnet's Download.com.

or just use the old hard drive as master and set the new hd as slave.
