Even if its our clone... its an independant person with independant needs/thoughts.... I doubt this will ever become a reality... (scientifically possible, though morally incorrect)

Ya know in a way an identical twin is like your clone, once the egg is fertilized you *could* say conception is complete, and then when it splits in 2 and now you have twins really its like that second twin budded off the first one which would be asexual reproduction. Just kinda throwing that out there. Maybe its like your identical twin who is 20 years younger than you :p?

FWIW: did they ever get that thing down where clones died really young or no? Would be kinda sad if they cloned a human and then they only lived to be 15 or something.

If it becomes scientifically possible it will be done, it would only be a matter of time, other countries (like say China) might not have the same morality issues with this technology. Although I don't know why China would ever want to clone people, they already have so damn many....

if it were permitted and you are approached to be cloned... would you consent?
I, for one, take pleasure in being who I am cause there is no one else out there like me...
Even if my clone would not quite be me, I wouldnt wanna take that chance just in case... :D

Logically, no. Why would it be mine? The clone would be an independent being.

Clone is a clone, not a sibling nor my property.
